About Quartz Stalactites
Quartz stalactites are a very special quartz formation which forms in the belly of certain types of hot springs where boiling water meets formations made by microbes and coats them with crystal layers. Solar quartz is a slice of a quartz stalactite.
Many different types of quartz can be in a stalactite like amethyst, citrine, smokey quartz and chalcedony but also other minerals like pyrite.
